If you're an accountant, solicitor, broker or other professional adviser — or simply know a business owner who'd benefit from a conversation about protecting their business — we'd like to hear from you. This page is for you, not your clients: it explains how referring a business to us for Business Protection advice works, and what's in it for you.

Who this is for

We work with a range of local professionals and contacts who come across business owners in the course of their own work, but don't advise on business protection themselves — including accountants, solicitors, commercial brokers, business networking contacts, and existing clients who know someone who'd benefit. If you're regularly in conversation with business owners about their company's structure, ownership or finances, there's a good chance protection gaps come up naturally — this is where we can help.

What's in it for you

Your clients are looked after

Referred businesses get advised, specialist Business Protection recommendations from a regulated adviser — not a generic sales conversation. We'll assess their circumstances properly before recommending anything.

You strengthen the relationship

Connecting a client with the right specialist for a gap in their protection reflects well on you, and keeps you front of mind as someone who looks out for their wider interests.

You're rewarded for the introduction

We offer referring businesses either a share of commission or a flat referral fee, depending on referral volume. The exact structure is confirmed and agreed with you directly, and set out in a simple written agreement before any referrals begin.

How it works

1. Introduce us

Send us a name and contact details using the form below, by email, or by phone — whatever's easiest. Let the business know to expect a call from us.

2. We take it from there

We'll have an initial, no-obligation conversation with the business directly, and can keep you updated on progress with the client's consent.

3. We agree terms with you

Before any referrals begin, we'll confirm the referral arrangement with you in writing — either a commission share or a flat fee, depending on volume.

4. You're kept in the loop

We'll let you know when a referral leads to cover being put in place, so you always know the outcome of an introduction you've made.

A few things worth knowing

  • Referral arrangements are formalised in writing before any fee becomes payable — nothing is assumed or informal.
  • We remain independently responsible for the advice given to any business you refer; a referral doesn't change how thoroughly we assess their circumstances.
  • You're welcome to refer as many or as few clients as suits you — there's no minimum commitment.
  • If you'd simply like to make an introduction without any referral fee, that's entirely fine too — just let us know.

Refer a client

Tell us a little about the business and the best way to reach them (or you, if you'd rather we come back to you first), and we'll take it from there.
